Kryzz was born and raised in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. At the age of 20 and with local success attached to her name, she emigrated to Boston in 2009 to attend Emerson College, one of the top twenty film schools in the world, where she focused her studies in Directing Narrative Fiction, Photography, and Music Appreciation.

Out of over 400 directors considered, Kryzz was selected in February 2018 as one of the 6 up-and-comers who participated in the Commercial Directors Diversity Program, a fellowship for emerging filmmakers created by the Directors Guild Of America (DGA) and the Association Of Independent Commercial Producers (AICP). In March 2018 Kryzz was one of the two directors recognized with Superlounge'sDiversity Award for Directors curated by acclaimed director Jordan Brady. In May 2018, Kryzz made it to the highly competitive interview round of Ryan Murphy's Half Initiative. With this program Murphy's seeks to find the most talented, unsigned, diverse directors and bring them in to the TV Direction fold by granting the selected few the opportunity to shadow established directors on each of the series he runs. Kryzz is currently awaiting the final decision. 

During her time at Emerson Kryzz produces several short films and a feature that receive local, national, and international accolades. To highlight a few: "Marasma" (2011) was in the running for the Region 2 Student Academy Awards finalists in the Experimental category. "A Foolish Companion" (2012) was nominated for “Outstanding Cinematic Achievement” at the EVVY Awards and went on to win, amongst other things, “Best Screenplay” and “Best Short Film” at the Women In Shorts Festival, the “Audience Award” at the National Broadcasting Society Festival, and was invited to screen at the Ibero-American Festival organized by the Dominican Film Commission in Spain. In 2011 she successfully writes and directs her first feature film "All Lit Up." The film has yet to officially premiere and it has already created some buzz and went on to win awards for the directing as well as being scouted by film festivals. "All Lit Up" (2011) won an EVVY Award for “Best Single Camera Directing” and “Best Sound Editing”. After her move to Los Angeles in 2012, Kryzz continued to produce award-winning content. "Not A Love Story" (2015) has won "Best Short Film," "Best Screenplay," and "Best Editing" across the festival circuit. In 2018, the New York Dominican Film Festival selected "Not A Love Story" as one of the "most significant pieces in the history of the festival" and curated it into their Summer 2018 showcase titled "The New Wave: Dominican Women In The Diaspora". In 2014 Kryzz made it to the Top 100 of NBC's shortlist of directors being considered for their Directing Fellowship. In 2015, Kryzz directs a proof of concept for a pilot being reviewed by one of the five major networks in the US as well as writing/directing a pilot for Lifetime/A&E Studios. In 2017 she was brought on board as one of the producers on “Ask Your Black Geek Friend”which airs weekly on Legendary Digital Networks’ “Geek & Sundry”. AYBGF has been renewed for a second season premiering in 2018.

As of 2018, Kryzz is in the process of writing two pilots and has been attached to direct several features currently in development.
